Berkeley Heights, NJ (November 1, 2021) – PRISM Vision Group® (PVG), the largest vertically-integrated eye care services organization in the Mid-Atlantic region, welcomes Karleen Mussman as its new Chief Human Resources Officer.
With over 20 years of Human Resources experience in organizations both large and small, Ms. Mussman has a successful track record of executing against aggressive business agendas by finding talent to meet the growing needs of businesses, leading through growth and transformation, elevating the employer brand to attract quality talent, and building and maintaining an engaged workforce.
Ms. Mussman joins PRISM Vision Group® most recently from Zoom+Care, an on-demand urgent, primary, and specialty healthcare services company in Portland, OR, where she was the Chief People Officer who led a team to double the organization in size, in multiple new locations, and in new markets. There she also was responsible for implementing a new talent acquisition system to attract and engage targeted candidates more efficiently, while also designing and putting into place new programs to support physicians and employees to do their best work.

Ms. Mussman earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Spanish at Indiana University and a Master’s of Science in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from Loyola University. She is Chairman of the Board of Directors of St. Augustine College in Chicago, and is a member of several HR leadership organizations, including the PEER 150 Chicago and Portland, as well as the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago.
