Dr. Carabin sees patients in need of routine annual eye exams for eyeglasses & contact lenses as well as care for complex medical, laser and surgical eye problems. He provides eye exams for cataracts, as well as eye exams for retinal disease, such as floaters, retina tears and detachment, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration (AMD) and diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. Dr. Carabin has special interest in laser cataract surgery and vision correction after cataract surgery with advanced lens implants including toric lens implants to correct astigmatism and multifocal cataract lens implants to help patients reduce their dependence on eyeglasses, reading glasses and bifocals.
Dr. Carabin is a Diplomate of and certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO), a Diplomate National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) and a Fellow American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO).
