David D. Reed, O.D., F.A.A.O. is an Optometrist who provides medical eye health & vision care to patients from throughout Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Dr. Reed earned his Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry followed residency certification in Ocular Disease at Baltimore Veterans Medical Center (BVMC) working with glaucoma, retinal, and corneal specialists. At Seidenberg Protzko Eye Associates, Dr. Reed is Director of Student and Residency Programs with affiliations from Pennsylvania, New England, Massachusetts and Alabama Birmingham Colleges of Optometry where he serves as an adjunct faculty member. Dr. Reed has served as President of the State Board of Optometry and Chair of the Quality Enhancement and Improvement Committee governing the use of therapeutic pharmaceutical agents. Dr. Reed is a National Board Examiner, Clinical Investigator on national research studies and an international lecturer on eye disease.
