NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J., January 20, 2026—PRISM Vision Group (PRISM), a leading provider of ophthalmology practice management services, announced an evolution of its practice leadership structure to foster further cohesion across geographic areas and specialties and to continue to build on its legacy of physician leadership.
Physician and operational leaders will now assume shared oversight of all PRISM-affiliated retina and anterior segment practices within three designated geographic regions:
“We believe that healthcare is at its best when it’s highly collaborative and community-based,” said Anne Hoang, chief operating officer of PRISM Vision Group. “This integrated structure allows us to create a complete continuum of eye care anywhere we operate.”
Leading each region will be one operations executive partnered with one senior medical director, a new physician leadership role created to support this regional structure. Dr. Michael Lai of the Retina Group of Washington has been named Senior Medical Director for the Southern Region and Dr. Vinod Voleti of NJRetina will lead the Northern Region. A Senior Medical Director for the Western Region will be named later. “Dyad partnerships between physicians and operators have already been integral to our success. However, the senior medical director role will be core to our vision of being deeply integrated across eye care specialties,” explained Dr. Priya Desai, a practicing glaucoma surgeon and PRISM’s Chief Medical Officer. “Dr. Lai and Dr. Voleti are not just highly renowned retina physicians, they are also highly impactful and respected physician leaders.”
In designing this new regional integrated model, PRISM’s leaders had patient experience and patient care at the forefront. “This new model breaks down barriers between specialties and practice locations, allowing doctors and operators from different PRISM-affiliated practices to come together and work on delivering the highest level of patient care,” said Dr. Voleti.”
Dr. Lai added, “We are enhancing the level of collaboration amongst all PRISM-affiliated providers within a geographic region to create a strong culture, a high-functioning practice environment, and great outcomes for our patients.”
This organizational redesign also transitions operations leaders from specialty-specific leadership to regional leadership. Nancy Reynoso, formerly SVP, Operations – Retina, will become SVP, Operations, Southern Region while Becky Hubbard, formerly SVP, Operations – General Ophthalmology, Ambulatory Surgery, and Integrations, will become SVP, Operations – Northern Region on an interim basis, in addition to retaining her responsibilities as SVP, Integrations. An operations leader for the northern region will be named later.
