SPEA is an 8-physician practice with 5 locations—including a surgery center — in Northeast Maryland. The practice provides full-service comprehensive eye care with subspecialties that include –cataract and refractive surgery, dry eye, glaucoma, specialty contact lens fittings and aesthetics. In addition, SPEA is an affiliated with the Pennsylvania College of Optometry @ Salus University as an accredited teaching facility with an Optometric Residency and Student Externship program and is an active site for clinical research studies.
