Dr. Mark Siden is a comprehensive eye care specialist with expertise in cataract and refractive surgery. He recently joined South Jersey Eye Physicians and sees patients at both the Moorestown and Medford offices.

A native of Hastings-on-Hudson, New York, Dr. Siden graduated magna cum laude from Gettysburg College and earned his Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at Nova Southeastern University/Larkin Community Hospital in South Florida, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Siden brings a global perspective to his practice, having volunteered at a hospital in Senegal during medical school, a formative experience that inspired his passion for ophthalmology and mission-based care. In the summer before joining the practice, Dr. Siden performed cataract surgeries in Tecate, Mexico, while learning manual small-incision cataract surgery (MSICS), a technique developed to restore sight in patients with dense cataracts in resource-poor regions lacking phacoemulsification. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys playing and watching basketball, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. The son of two educators, he also values patient education and takes time to explain conditions and personalized treatment options.
